Senior QA Engineer

Position Overview :
The Senior QA Engineer will be a key member of our Engineering Team, interfacing closely with our Product Team and reporting to the Lead QA Engineer. You will play a key role in overall software quality assurance for MD Clarity's product suite, building out an automated QA pipeline while optimizing QA processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency in product development, deployment, and sustainment. In parallel, you will regularly enhance our capabilities in tooling and emerging QA methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Own test phases throughout the SDLC
• Identify and investigate potential product quality issues
• Write automated functional test cases
• Report and document defects
• Complete test plans and cases
• Complete white/black box testing
• Manage ongoing improvement to the Continuous Integration pipeline
• Review requirements and specifications to provide relevant and meaningful feedback
• Contribute to overall planning for our quality strategy
• Develop and evaluate standards and procedures for product improvement

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, software testing standards, and the software development cycle, including: test automation, test design, test execution analysis and reporting
• Demonstrated experience developing high-quality test plans
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to convey technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders
• Creative problem-solving abilities, with a deep-seated drive to find ways to make things easier
• Ability to manage time between tasks and prioritize as necessary
• SQL database skills
• Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as C# and Java
• Ability to write automated test cases using Selenium, Cucumber or any other automation framework

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (BS or BSE)
• 7+ years of experience in overall software QA/test experience
