Work alongside our seasoned leadership team that has successful exit history within the education technology space. We partnered with Cie, a venture studio that brings ideas, resources, and talent together. They are experts at launching ideas to market while navigating uncertain economic conditions.
- Deliver quality through a combination of manual and automated testing.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases defined using Test Plans in Azure DevOps.
- Define pre-conditions and create test data needed for test case execution.
- Isolate the signal from the noise through methodical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Think out of the box and find creative ways to solve a variety of testing challenges.
- Log high-quality bug tickets using Azure DevOps.
- Identify issues and validate both new & prior features across various browsers & operating systems.
- Manage builds & releases on projects from start to finish.
- Leverage 3rd party tools and custom scripts as needed to support testing.
- Create & manage release notes and report test results.
- Periodically monitor application health using reporting dashboards and tools.
- Proactively provide feedback on product usability and recommendations to improve overall quality.
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure clear, concise communication is being maintained between development and production.
- Ability to test anything. You can confidently test websites, APIs, infrastructure, and beyond.
- Attention to detail. Functional issues, typos, misalignments – your attention to detail helps achieve pixel-perfect deliverables.
- Sound judgment. You can isolate the signal from the noise through methodical troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Programming experience. Ability to automate redundant and repetitive test cases.
- Impeccable execution. You’ll need to close out multiple tasks while working with tight deadlines.
- Product thinking. You’ll need to be able to put on your product hat and test applications from a user perspective.
- Exceptional time management. You’ll need to contribute to multiple aspects of the project simultaneously while managing competing priorities.
- Proactivity. We’re looking not just to have you be part of our team but improve our projects and processes.
- Writing skills. You’ll need to create comprehensive test cases, bug tickets, and supporting documentation.
- Familiarity with the following tools/frameworks are required: SonarCloud and Selenium (must have C# experience).
- Preferred experience with one or more of the following: Docker/Kubernetes, cloud applications leveraging micro-service architectures, and load testing tooling, particularly for microservices at scale (i.e. JMeter, k6, etc.).
- Experience in education technology, specifically K-12 software, is a plus!

Work location is flexible if approved by the company except that position may not be performed remotely from Colorado or New York.
