Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will promote and ensure the software quality of our products. You will be a key contributor to the entire engineering team by not only assuring high-quality code, but helping your teammates do so as well, by mentoring and providing support whenever needed. You’ll work across the engineering team interacting with product managers, designers, engineers, and other QA engineers in gathering and executing against those product requirements in a timely manner.  You find great excitement and passion in being challenged; are able to find, evaluate, and leverage new technologies; have a love for solving complex problems; and are energized by making customers successful.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
• Analyze project requirements and product objectives to create, maintain, and execute suite of test cases 
• Automate test cases to achieve higher efficiency without sacrificing quality
• Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results, track defects and participate in a day-to-day QA activity
• Manage the final quality on production release
• Troubleshoot quality issues and modification of test procedures
• Research new or better alternate automated testing tools & techniques
• Follow & promote industry best practices for software quality assurance

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances

• 4-5 years of QA methodologies, automated testing tools and test strategies
• Strong programming and scripting skills
• Knowledge and passion for software QA methodologies & processes
• Strong experience in designing automated testing solutions from scratch
• Expertise in breaking down feature requirements to design efficient targeted & end-to-end testing scenarios
• Test planning, prioritizing, and coordination
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Previous experience taking ownership of validating features/functionality and certifying projects end-to-end with high quality
• Enjoys working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
• Skill and comfort working in a rapidly moving startup environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users

• Early-stage data-centric startup experience
• Experience with a variety of testing frameworks including cypress, jest, Selenium, pytest, junit etc.
