Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Integrations

Our Quality Assurance team is responsible for defining and executing thorough test plans as well as working with stakeholders to continuously refine our testing strategies. As our Senior QA Engineer working on our integrations offering, Unanet Connect, you will have the opportunity to learn new products and problem domains in the context of a rich, fast-paced product development environment. Curiosity and attention to detail are critical traits for this role. 

What You’ll Do  

• Define and execute QA test plans 
• Perform effective exploratory testing on product integrations 
• Research root causes around incidents and identify, recommend, and implement solutions 
• Provide knowledge transfer and/or hands-on training with other team members 
• Collaborate with QA peers, product management, software development, and Product leadership throughout the product lifecycle 
• Troubleshoot integration issues between Unanet products and external vendors 
• Analyze data sets for anomalies that may lead to unexpected errors in integrations 
• Work closely with subject matter experts and functional consultants to understand and capture customer problems 
• Refine maintenance backlog for the product integrations team to consume 
• Hold your teammates accountable for ensuring our products and solutions meet exceptional quality standards 

Your First 90 Days 

In your First 30 Days, you will immerse yourself in our virtual onboarding, enabling you to understand and acclimate to our culture, product, and technology stack. As your knowledge of our team and how it operates grows, so too will your impact and influence. 

In your First 60 Days, you will define and execute comprehensive QA test plans as well as perform exploratory testing on our integrations. You will contribute to an efficient and effective SDLC. Your efforts will continuously improve how you support your Scrum Team (PO, QA, Engineering).  

In Your First 90 Days, you will have gained a comprehensive understanding of our integrations offering and will have markedly contributed to our testing strategy, informing our future deliveries. 

Who You Are  

• 4+ years of QA experience within an Agile software development environment 
• 4+ years of experience working with structured and unstructured data in a product integration setting, using SQL/stored procedures 
• Prior experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) 
• Prior experience testing integrations built on an iPaaS (e.g., Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato) 

Your Differentiators 

• Experience with at least one object-oriented or procedural programming language 
• Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver API, SoapUI, Cucumber) 
• A mindset for “breaking things,” with the capacity of putting yourself in users’ shoes 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred

The salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 - $115,000 per year. You will be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
