Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote US

Seamless.AI is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. We are looking for a passionate, experienced engineer with a strong background in programming combined with a passion for software quality and test automation. The ideal candidate has extensive experience implementing an automated testing strategy at all layers of the application, especially at the API and UI layers. They will also possess both the desire and the capability to help build that expertise in others and provide mentorship to their peers.

• Design and develop automated test scripts and tools to streamline our software testing process. Leverage your expertise in scripting languages and automation frameworks to create reliable and efficient test suites.
• Collaborate with teams to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. Execute test cases meticulously, identify defects, and report issues with clarity and precision.
• Dig deep into the codebase, exploring every nook and cranny to uncover bugs and glitches. Utilize your analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and document software defects, ensuring they are addressed promptly.
• Advocate for the adoption of automation in our software development lifecycle. Educate and guide team members on the benefits and best practices of test automation, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance our quality assurance processes and methodologies. Identify areas for improvement, propose innovative solutions, and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues, and ensure smooth communication throughout the testing process. Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.

• 3+ years of experience in testing and automation
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress or other automation engines
• Experience with Java, Javascript, SQL, Git/GitHub
• Experience in continuous integration environments and delivery pipelines
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Familiar with Agile development processes
