Senior React Native Developer

As a Senior React Native developer on the mobile team, you will drive design and development of core components as well as new features. You enjoy working closely with product managers, engineers, designers and clinicians on your team to define, estimate and deliver on major initiatives. You stay curious and embrace a growth mindset, mentoring a talented team of engineers. As part of a distributed team, you help foster an environment of mutual respect, empathy, and transparency. 

• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver high quality features and bug fixes in React Native codebase
• Implement well-designed, reusable components
• Analyze and optimize code to improve overall app performance and stability
• Facilitate app deployments in the Google Play Store
• Raise the quality bar for each release through well-tested code and collaborative code review
• Quickly evaluate new patterns / services using light coding spikes.
• Enhance coding standards, developer documentation, and knowledge transfer to new or less experienced developers.
• Identify technical debt and refactor code when appropriate.
• Identify accessibility and UX risks and drive their remediation.

• 5+ years hands-on mobile application focused software development
• 3+ years experience with React Native
• Experience writing unit tests and testable code 
• Experience writing and maintaining native Android apps in Kotlin or Java is a bonus
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or React is a bonus 
• Experience with Swift is a bonus
• Experience working closely with designers and contributing to UI and UX decision making process 
• Strong familiarity with agile practices (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to communicate with clarity, and collaborate effectively across a growing, distributed team
• Experience working with offshore developers preferred

The salary range is $80,000 to $150,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, AbleTo offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
