The Senior Regional Account Manager will drive business growth and deepen strategic relationships within a defined regional portfolio of high-potential accounts. This role is responsible for developing account plans, identifying new opportunities, and acting as the primary point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention. The ideal candidate combines strong industry knowledge, consultative sales skills, and executive relationship management experience to deliver measurable results. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, negotiate contracts, and provide strategic insights to influence customer success. Travel up to 50% is expected, including international trips, and a self-directed, proactive approach is essential for success. Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with customer needs and strategic objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and identification of new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic accounts, building trust and long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Monitor account performance, maintain accurate forecasts, and update CRM systems to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Portfolio Management, R&D, Operations, and Marketing—to deliver tailored solutions and seamless execution.
  • Act as the global escalation point for customer issues, scope changes, and quality concerns to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; MBA preferred.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in account management, with proven success managing OEM accounts or serving medical device companies.
    • Strong understanding of medical device design, development, and clinical applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships and multi-functional customer engagement.
    • Knowledge of market dynamics with the ability to translate customer needs into actionable growth strategies.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Collaborative mindset with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
    • Comfortable working in a self-directed, fast-paced environment.
    • Must be willing to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
