Our location in Columbus, OH currently has an opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Sales Operations. The Analyst Sales Operations supports internal leadership and key Field Sales teams in providing comprehensive analysis and reporting through mediums such as Power BI, Excel, SalesForce.com, PowerPoint, etc. The role will provide internal and external sales management with the tools and real-time analytical capabilities to support sales strategies, execution and measurements. The Analyst Sales Operations should be able to capitalize on process synergies and automation by partnering with internal departments and developing standardized, efficient and repeatable processes. Heighted focus to include monthly financial reporting, business metrics to measure FSF progress towards goals, contract requests, risk analyses, and Regional support.

The Opportunity
Abbott is looking for a Senior Sales Analyst to join their Sales Operations Administration team.
What You'll Work On• Providing comprehensive analysis and reporting through mediums such as Power BI, Excel, SalesForce.com, PowerPoint, etc• Focus to include monthly financial reporting, business metrics to measure FSF progress towards goals, contract requests, risk analyses, and Regional support. • Update/Analyze reports to track team progress to goals and create/build new reports as needed to keep up with the evolving needs of the business. • Provide internal and external sales management with the tools and real-time analytical capabilities to support sales strategies, execution and measurements. Capitalize on process synergies and automation by partnering with internal departments and developing standardized, efficient and repeatable processes.• Identify and respond to opportunities to automate processes and streamline efficiencies• Understand the goals and objectives of the Division and Sales Force• Complete ad hoc requests as needed by internal and external Sales Teams.• Administration of sales reporting for Division sales organizations.• Identify and complete thorough analysis of competitive captures and losses• contributing to the short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals• Works under general direction and under challenging time constraints; independently determines and develops approach to solutions; work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives; identifies and quantifies risks and their consequences relative to the success of part of a project; recommends appropriate action; decisions or recommendations would typically achieve departmental / project objectives.
Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.• Typically requires 3-6 years of progressive finance, accounting or sales administration experience which includes monthly reporting and reconciliation responsibility.• Candidate should possess the following:• Ability to apply knowledge of financial systems to support the Division's diverse sales administration requirements.• Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications;• Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.• Ability to work independently and in groups.• Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.• Critical-thinking skills.• Strong attention to detail, customer service, priority setting and creativity.• Ability or aptitude to multi-task as new projects and challenges are incurred.• Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software.
