The Senior Sales Enablement Manager is a trusted advisor and program lead, who will lead a newly established Sales Enablement function focused on creating and implementing learning strategies and programs aligned with GumGum’s Go To Market objectives.  Reporting to the Director, Solutions Marketing & Enablement, this role’s primary focus is to support client-facing teams with learning and development initiatives required for successful GTM adoption and incremental revenue across our Media and Data businesses. The Manager will function across a highly matrixed organization to drive the standard methodology and tools that cross stakeholders and lines of business leverage for success.

This position requires excellent group facilitation, project management, communication, and self-motivation skills. The Sr. Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consumption of enablement tools and content. The position requires significant cross-departmental collaboration and management and an ability to influence and lead even across departments in which they do not have direct oversight. With a passion for and deep understanding of sales, marketing, and enablement collateral creation, this role will be accountable for content creation and improvement and driving sales productivity through the effective delivery and appropriate consumption of materials and tools.

Note: GumGum currently operates in a ‘work from home’ virtual environment with sporadic opportunities for in-person business and morale events. There will not be any requirement to go into the office on a daily basis moving forward. GumGum is only open to hiring remote candidates who are residents in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and MN.

What You'll Achieve

  • Provide strategic learning & development thought partnership to GumGum leadership, including a deep understanding of our business and strategy and how innovative learning programs can help accelerate our transformation and achieve our goals.
  • Assess GTM training needs collectively to design a global sales training program for all client-facing teams
  • Collaborate with SMEs across the organization to identify training needs and curate/develop content that supports our core and cultural values and aligns with our corporate goals.
  • Facilitate engaging, innovative, and outcome-centered training sessions
  • Enhance and create evaluation methods to gather feedback and measure the success of our training programs
  • Plan, organize, and deliver key Sales meetings such as Sales Kick Offs and Bootcamp
  • Identify, design, and implement programming such as sales plays, revenue plays, SPIFFS, and/or bespoke vertical sales enablement programming related to GTM activities.
  • Empower the global sales team with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to effectively communicate the value and benefits GumGum’s media and data solutions.
  • Provide comprehensive and up-to-date product information, sales training, and customer insights to help the sales team increase knowledge, sharpen sales skills, and exceed customer expectations. 

Skills You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or certification in Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology, Adult Education,  Project Management, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in Learning and Organizational Development within the field of Advertising Technology or Marketing Technology
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, enablement, training development or program management for sales team, customers, and resellers
  • Experience building global enablement programs from scratch 
  • Experience leading training sessions on a variety of topics and in a variety of formats (live, in-person or remote), ranging from small-group facilitation to large-group presentations
  • Experience translating sales strategies into program strategy and well-written and engaging learning content 
  • Understanding/experience of the Ad Tech industry and current vital issues is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in adapting to a rapidly-changing environment/high-growth environment
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with a sense of urgency to follow through
  • Strong Google Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Willing and able to work cross-functionally across global timezones as needed
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Comfortable with an unstructured role that requires frequent changes in prioritization of time and focus, in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative spirit, open to diverse perspectives, and new ideas and able to effectively communicate 
  • Ability to work with individuals from different teams and backgrounds
  • Professional attitude with the ability to comfortably communicate with internal and external partners
