Optima Health - Sentara is Expanding into Northern Virginia!

Optima Health is hiring a Senior Sales/Client Specialist! This Role is a Remote position but must reside in Northern, VA for occasional travel.

Optima Health provides health plan coverage to over 858,000 members. We offer a full suite of commercial products including employee-owned and employer-sponsored plans, as well as Individual and Family health plans, employee assistance plans and plans serving Medicare and Medicaid enrollees.

Job Summary:
  • Support (Sr.) sales executive and/or (Sr.) (Regional) client executive in producing and retaining profitable business in the large group segment. Interact with consultants, brokers, benefit administrators and Optima Health business units to achieve these objectives. Conduct group educational meetings with members and prospective members as requested. Demonstrate knowledge about health insurance products, basic underwriting principles, self-funded arrangements and PPACA provisions impacting the Large Employer segment.

Required Qualifications/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Level Degree Required and 5 years related experience or High School Diploma and 11 years of related experience.
  • Related years of Customer Relations, Leadership, Health Insurance, Employee Benefits and Sales Leadership experience
