Job Description

We're looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our Growth Strategy team to help us transform the way primary care is delivered and how patients are served.

Why VillageMD?

VillageMD is changing the trajectory of healthcare. We’re empowering primary care physicians to make informed decisions, and engaging patients in meaningful ways. We work with thousands of clinicians and healthcare disruptors across the country, improving patient health while driving down the cost to deliver it.

We are a mission-oriented organization, and we are thrilled about the work that we accomplish every day. We’re transparent. Collaborative. Relentless in pursuit of our mission. With a confidence to lead but the humility to never stop learning. We believe that diverse backgrounds and experiences create the best opportunity for innovation. And we know that the community we are growing is greater than any one individual.

We’ve built our technology using the best of cloud and open-source technologies to create an open, data-first platform that is enriched with analytical models and connected to the most modern internal and external apps. These apps drive clinical decision support, patient engagement and outcomes and other facilitators of innovative, information-enriched health experiences.

Could this be you?

In this role, you’ll operate as a Senior Salesforce Administrator for the Growth Team and its internal stakeholders – Business and Relationship Development and Talent Acquisition. You will assess, build upon and optimize current systems to make overall provider and talent acquisition processes more efficient. You will take on challenging projects with multiple stakeholders and vastly varying requirements – you will bring order and stability to a rapidly growing system.

You will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the standardization of scaling growth processes during a period of rapid growth and build processes that will ultimately help us scale our provider recruiting processes and workflows. As the organization continues to grow so do the opportunities to develop your skills and gain exposure to different areas of our business and model of care.

How you can make a difference

During your first year, you can expect the following professional challenges:

  • Assess the current instance of Salesforce – recommend and implement a wide range of administrative changes
  • Continuously optimize the Growth team’s CRM, working with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate and efficient flow of information into Salesforce
  • Work with the rest of the Growth Strategy team to ensure that our reporting suite is informed by robust and accurate data systems
  • Liaise with the Technology team to keep the Growth Salesforce instance up to Tech’s standards
  • Collaborate across the Growth organization to develop insights and project plans to drive better provider outcomes by optimizing the current Salesforce instance. Flexibility is key as you will be working with many different teams to help them achieve the organization's goals.

Skills for success

  • Certification as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Ability to effectively communicate best practices as well as tailor our Salesforce instance to the needs of multiple, cross-functional stakeholders
  • An innate desire to understand processes and automations and the voice to propose improvements with a constant focus on innovation
  • The capacity to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment; ability to handle multiple projects, absorb information quickly, create a plan and execute it efficiently
  • A low ego; an ability to gain trust by doing what you say you will do

Experience to drive change

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 3 years’ experience as an administrator of Salesforce with building and optimizing Salesforce according to end-users needs
    • Experience with Salesforce-Pardot integration
    • Experience with adjacent sales/ATS systems such as HubSpot, DocuSign, Greenhouse (or similar systems) is a plus
  • Experience with advanced Salesforce CRM features desired “Process builders, Flows, Dynamic Dashboards”
  • Experience in working with App Exchange solutions

How you will thrive

In addition to competitive salaries, a 401k program with company match, bonus and a valuable health benefits package, VillageMD offers paid parental leave, pre-tax savings on commuter expenses, and generous paid time off. You work in a highly-collaborative, conscientious, forward-thinking environment that welcomes your experience and enables you to make a significant impact from Day 1.

Most importantly, you make a difference. You see a clear connection between your daily work on VillageMD products and services and the advancement of innovative solutions and improved quality of healthcare for providers and patients.
