About the Role 

We are currently seeking a Business Systems Administrator to help our sales and support teams fully utilize the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate would be passionate about building high-quality solutions, motivated to help the teams using those solutions, driven to master their craft by gaining deep technical expertise in all related areas, and excited by adding to the great culture of Instacart!

About the Team 

The Business Systems Administrator would work within the Business Systems team. The Business Systems team is responsible for designing, building and maintaining systems and tools used by various operational teams. The team has responsibility for managing multiple third party systems such as Salesforce, Ironclad, ZoomInfo, and Contact Centers as well as many tools built by internal engineering teams. 

About the Job 

• Build functionality in Salesforce such as lighting apps, record pages, complex flows, approvals, creating and maintaining custom objects, object relationships, and standard and custom fields.

• Test, validate, and deploy components.

• Provide end user support of systems including documentation, training, and best practice

• Provision users and assign proper permissions.

• Work as a team with other administrators and software engineers to implement new apps and systems.

• Evaluate, select, implement, integrate and enhance technology tools used by the partner teams.

• Contribute consistently and enthusiastically to the administrator team’s capabilities.
  

About 

Minimum Qualifications

• A drive to be an expert at all things Salesforce.

• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce administration.

• Proven ability to work effectively with teams.

• Proven critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.

• Integration experience with Salesforce to 3rd party applications.

• Strong communication skills with both business and technical teams.

• Relevant Salesforce administration skills: Flows, Lightning experience, Revenue Cloud (CPQ) administration, Marketing Cloud (Pardot), Sales Engagement administration, CRM Analytics administration, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud administration

Preferred Qualifications

• Querying (SOQL, SOSL) experience

• Salesforce Connect experience

• Salesforce certifications: Advanced Administrator and App Builder

• Ability to read and help diagnose issues in Apex code
