Why This Role is ExcitingÂ
As a Senior Salesforce CPQ Admin, you’ll have the opportunity to build and scale our CPQ technical architecture as well as the growing applications in the Quote to Cash landscape. You’ll be able to leverage your technical knowledge to implement innovative solutions and execute on CPQ adoption enhancements, product rollouts and transformation projects that drive the end to end journey.
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Dedicated technical administration of CPQ infrastructure including product and pricing rules, advanced approvals, order forms, product catalog and order/contract management
- Run-the-business support for Salesforce CPQ, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Build, test and implement technical solutions leveraging CPQ features, Salesforce flows, validation rules or other integrated solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions
- Maintain and update CPQ Product and Pricing to support AuditBoard product updates and releases
- Maintain and update CPQ’s Advanced Approval process to support Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Renewals Approval process updates
- Maintain and update AuditBoard’s CPQ Order Form using Salesforce CPQ’s Quote Templates
- Develop and maintain end-to-end testing documentation and procedures to assist in QA and UAT of Salesforce deployments and releases
- Manage data load, migration, and integration projects including mapping and validating CPQ data
Attributes for a Successful CandidateÂ
- 4+ years of dedicated Salesforce CPQ experience
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ capabilities, best practices and limitations as well as the ability to communicate these to stakeholders
- Advanced experience with price rules, product rules, advanced approvals, quote templates, quote terms, etc.
- Familiarity with CPQ Javascript Plugins / Quote Calculator Plugins
- Strong technical skills with Salesforce flows, validation rules and profiles/permissions
- Familiarity with integrated financial systems linked to billing aspects of the Quote to Cash journey
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks with scalability and efficiency top of mind
- Eagerness to research and recommend new technologies or creative solutions that help drive productivity across the business
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Familiarly with Jira and agile methodologies a plus
