Senior SAP Administrator - US Remote

What You Will Do:

• SAP Basis Administration: Manage and maintain our SAP systems, including SAP S/4HANA 2022, GRC, and Solution Manager, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize SAP system performance, identifying and resolving issues to enhance user experience.
• Daily Change Management: Oversee daily SAP system changes, transport management, and system refreshes to ensure smooth operations.
• Compliance & SOX Audits: Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure that SAP systems are compliant with regulatory requirements and assist in SOX audits.
• Support GUI / FIORI / RF Devices: Provide support for SAP GUI, FIORI, and RF devices to ensure user accessibility and productivity.
• Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the SAP landscape and work with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
• SAP Upgrade Projects: Participate in SAP upgrade projects, including planning, testing, and execution, to keep our systems up to date with the latest technologies.
• Support Finance and Supply Chain Projects: Collaborate closely with Finance and Supply Chain teams to understand their SAP requirements and provide technical support for their projects.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional teams, developers, and other IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions.
• Technical Delivery: Coordinate and complete the implementation of support packages, release upgrades, kernel upgrades, system refreshes, and other lifecycle activities of the SAP ecosystem leveraging automation capabilities.
• Security: Follow cybersecurity strategy for continuous monitoring, prioritization, and the remediation of vulnerabilities in SAP S/4 platform.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with technical and infrastructure architects to help design and develop the reference architecture for complex SAP S/4 solutions using technologies from the leading cloud service providers such as AWS.

Your Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SAP Basis Administration experience with several SAP versions (such as SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, FIORI, GRC), ideally on the SAP S4 HANA platform.
• Experience and knowledge about SAP architecture and landscape
• Installation, upgrades, and migration experience
• Practical security & authorization knowledge
• Good OS level & DB administration skills
• Very good orientation in SAP products & platform
• Technical issues resolving skills (in cooperation with SAP and other technical teams)
• Performance & high data volumes aspects knowledge in administration area
• Strong scoping/estimation, problem solving, troubleshooting and technical experience with the ability to root cause application issues.
• Expertise delivering across all phases of delivery: requirements gathering, assessment, design, configuration, testing, cutover, and support.
• Work remotely with the tools which facilitate collaboration and ability to travel to office when needed for connecting with the team.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge on storage infrastructure and setup for HANA.
• Experience performing deep troubleshooting, archiving, partitioning and infrastructure setup.
• Willingness and ability to learn, execute proof of concept of new solutions like BTP, AI/ML and innovations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or similar preferred.
• Fluent in English, including excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The capability to plan for and manage small remote teams.
