Responsible for performing general analytics and statistical modeling on existing data sets in various areas of the business (e.g., Market Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing/Advertising, Financial Services, Scientific Research, etc.). Activities include: defining data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling and visualization. Examines and identifies data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision making. Provides inputs for complex Data Science and Big Data Mining projects. Identifies areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.
Level: A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include: • Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. • Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. • Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

The Senior Scrum Master at Nordic Global supports the team and the Product Owner in delivering high-quality products through effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. They are responsible for guiding the team in adopting agile software practices, leading Scrum ceremonies, and managing external influences to ensure its success. The Senior Scrum Master serves as a bridge between the Product Owner and the team, fostering collaboration and innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the team and organization on the implementation of Scrum and Agile practices and methodologies.
• Oversee the Scrum process, coach the team, and promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
• Lead daily Scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings to ensure active participation from all team members.
• Support the Product Owner in release planning activities.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, including cultural and logistical challenges.
• Encourage close cooperation among team members, promote cross-training, and provide team support.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration both within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Protect the team from external interference and ensure a productive work environment.
• Foster self-organization and growth within the team by promoting an Agile mindset and continuous improvement.
• Create a safe and trusting environment where team members feel comfortable raising concerns and proposing solutions.
• Coach and mentor other Scrum Masters within the organization.

Skills Needed:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification.
• In-depth understanding of Scrum framework and Agile principles.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to guide and mentor team members.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate effective team interactions.
• Ability to identify and address impediments to the team's progress.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to promote continuous improvement.
• Experience in leading Scrum ceremonies and promoting Agile practices within the organization.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing Agile methodologies in previous roles.
• Strong commitment to promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
