Senior Security Technical Account Manager - Edge Cloud Security
Fastly is looking for our first ever Technical Account Manager focused on Fastly Security products in the EMEA region. Our Technical Account Managers focus on delivering strategic technical initiatives for our customers in coordination with our Security Solutions teams. As a Senior TAM, you will be collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Security Research teams to help some of our biggest clients.
This role is limited to non-US only.
What You'll Do
- Own the Technical relationship with assigned accounts on an ongoing basis
- Understand the customer’s security strategy and advise on how Fastly’s security products can help customers achieve their security goals
- Focus on ensuring customers are successful with Fastly’s security products, from implementation through to ongoing usage
- Manage project status in our project management tools
- Work on internal PS projects as assigned
- Provide training to customers
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in Cybersecurity, preferably Application Security
- Experience with some or all the following foundational technologies: SaaS/Cloud or hybrid cloud deployments; Apache/NGINX/IIS or other web server platforms and associated Application server technologies and frameworks
- Unix/Linux or Windows systems administration
- Scripting ability with any of the following: Python, Java, Go, PHP, Unix/Linux Shell, C#, or other common Web languages
- Understanding of HTTP and API security best practices
- A creative, out of the box problem solver
- Ability and experience in troubleshooting software products
- Proficiency in English is required
We value a variety of voices, so this is not a laundry list. It would be an added bonus if you have experience in ANY of these:
- HTTP protocol experience. We protect all types of web servers so everything we work with will involve HTTP protocol
- Docker experience as it used by many of our customers
- Kubernetes Know-how. Kubernetes is now being used everywhere, and we always like to have more in house knowledge
- Knowledge of different Systems Config Management tools is very helpful
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
This is a UK based role, working out of our London office on a hybrid basis.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
