Senior SharePoint Developer

MetroStar is looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer that is passionate about serving the end user and improving federal operations via the design, development, and support of vital SharePoint applications. As a Senior SharePoint Developer, you will be a member of the integrated project team supporting the customer’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO). In collaboration with your teammates and the customer, you will work to upgrade, patch, and deploy; as well as trouble shoot and resolve production issues. You will also develop and maintain SharePoint sites across the customer’s organization, supporting customizations identified by the Customer. • You have 3-5 years of experience providing configuration of SharePoint settings and building custom web applications
• You have a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer or equivalent certification
• You have experience automating SharePoint web applications 
• You are familiar with Rapid Application Development (RAD) model/techniques
• You have experience developing in a cloud environment
• You have experience with SharePoint “out of the box” features
• You have experience developing with languages such as .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS

We will REALLY love you if (this is the BONUS stuff that will make you stand out):

• You have experience using SharePoint Search to build highly scalable and efficient customization in SharePoint
• You have experience using SharePoint Designer, and writing HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• You have integration experience with other MS Cloud Services
• You have familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform
• You have experience using Jira for requirements management
• You have experience with supporting federal government clients
• You have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience

What your day will look like:

• You will work with a cross-functional team to understand and implement UX/UI strategies for the customer’s SharePoint
• You will present to the client flows, wireframes, and functional designs, etc.
• You will lead the implementation of SharePoint updates and improvements
