The Zoom Chat People & Presence team is responsible for all the data about the user that Zoom services use in its context development. As a Zoom Chat Software Engineer you will be tasked with using Java for the overall development and maintenance of Zoom Chat People & Presence services.
Team Responsibilities
- A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of
specialization.
- This job is a fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. Works on
problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands on Java Spring Boot.
- 2+ years of experience working with Redis and DynamoDB
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$111,900.00
Maximum:
$249,700.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
