JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER: Manage and develop code base in Python/TypeScript/C++ in order to store and analyze video data for sports consumption; Build infrastructure pipelines to manage and process data inputs, i.e. points scored across different sports; Analyze users needs to design, test, and develop software; Recommend software upgrades for customers existing programs and systems provide technical assistance to customers as to how to use Second Spectrums products more effectively; Design each piece of an application or a system and plan how the pieces will work together to produce content to sell to teams and media outlets; Create a variety of models and diagrams, i.e. flowcharts that instruct programmers how to write software code for sports consumption; Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing; Document every aspect of an application or a system, i.e. input processing/data handling to reference for future maintenance and upgrades; Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software.

• Employer will allow employee to work remotely from anywhere within the United States including Hawaii and Alaska.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related. 
• 2 years’ experience as Machine Learning Engineer, Software Developer or Related Field. Special Requirements: Must know code base in Python/TypeScript/C++
• Alternative Master Degree in Computer Science or Related, with no experience. Special Requirements: Must know code base in Python/TypeScript/C++
