Gradient AI is a fast-growing startup, bringing state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions to the trillion-dollar insurance industry.  Founded in 2018, we have recently raised $20M from top Insurtech investors to continue fueling our growth.  Our software-as-a-service platform provides bias-free, data-driven insights, enabling insurance companies to profitably run their business and expand their offerings to underserved people and markets.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Utilize our tech stack that includes Python (Pandas, NumPy and PyTorch), Kubernetes, Git, Flask, Docker, SQL, and more in a Linux environment
  • Be involved in high-level design and architecture decisions, as well as hands-on development
  • Integrate Gradient AI’s propriety and 3rd party data and Machine Learning models into high-performance client-facing APIs and analytics.
  • Work closely with our data science and data engineering teams to design and develop robust ML Ops pipelines

Skills you need to exceed:

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Experience with Python or similar (another OO language)
  • Experience with SQL; understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Bash Scripting, and Git is nice to have
  • Exposure with AWS tools or similar cloud tools
  • Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and PyTorch is nice to have
  • Prior experience working with Data Science teams and productionizing machine learning models is nice to have

 What We Offer:

  • A fun, team-oriented startup culture.
  • Generous stock options - we all get to own a piece of what we’re building.
  • Unlimited vacation days.
  • Flexible schedule that supports working from home.
  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more.
  • Ample opportunities to learn and take on new responsibilities.

We are an equal opportunity employer.
