Optimal Dynamics is on a mission to automate and optimize the logistics industry through the use of advanced analytics. We are based on more than three decades of R&D at Princeton University and represent the most sophisticated technology ever developed for the logistics industry. Optimal Dynamics is a high-growth early-stage company with ~70 employees (but changing very quickly!) and $56M in funding.

- You like to work within a small team, collaborating with your colleagues (product manager, designer, UI engineers) to ship impactful products
Qualifications:
- Recent experience building, testing, deploying RESTful APIs using REST frameworks such as but not limited to: Django Rest Framework, Ruby on Rails and Spring Boot MVC
- Recent experience with Cloud Computing platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar
- Recent experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as but not limited to: Terraform, Puppet and CloudFormation
- Recent experience designing and developing microservices
- Recent experience with SQL (Relational Databases)
- Recent experience with Source Control (Git, Github, SVN)
- Recent experience working in Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban)
- Proficiency around Computer Science fundamentals such as Algorithms and Data Structures
Nice to have:
- Recent experience building systems with concurrency and event-driven architecture
- Recent experience with technologies such as but not limited to: NoSQL (e.g. Redis, DynamoDB), Kafka and Elasticsearch
