Senior Software Engineer

What you'll be doing:

You’ll be helping us define and build our next-gen medical AI platform. By building out core services and functionality, you will be delivering enormous value to stakeholders both internal and external, as well as ensuring scalability and reliability to all our users during our next exciting stages of growth.

Specifically, the core responsibilities of this role include developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable distributed services for our data pipeline. This is a dynamic role that will require creative thinking, communication and team organization skills, and strong, general software engineering fundamentals. It will require end-to-end, system-wide breadth of knowledge with the potentially on-demand need for depth of any system component from relational databases and Linux boot configurations to high-volume data ingestion.

Required skills:

• Solid experience developing complex, production-ready software including use of industry best practices and computer science fundamentals
• Aptitude for collaborating cross team and cross-functionally to specify and improve designs, estimate timelines and deliver results
• Strong written/verbal technical communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of ML fundamentals

Preferred skills:

• Prior experience with database systems (e.g.,PostgreSQL/Redshift, Snowflake/BigQuery)
• Prior experience working with AWS
• Working experience with Python
