Senior Software Engineer

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer, Senior who is interested in working on complex cloud-based DevOps solutions. Our software engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in systems analysis, design definition, software development, systems test, implementation, and maintenance.
• Exercises independent judgment. Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code (such as HTML, CGI, and JavaScript) for a component of the website.
• Address and meet the needs of the entire software development lifecycle - to analyze the needs, and then design, test and develop software
• Experience in Technical Customer Service, Customer Management, and experience in escalations may be required.
• Experience in a wide variety of computing environments including cloud and containerized solutions. Cultivates a "security first" and "test first" approach to test-driven development. Creating and maintaining documentation for implementations.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years’ experience in full stack development to include Java, Web services, Database, and web application development.
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience with one or more of the following such as Python, React, Node.JS, Go, or other modern cloud-native programming languages
• 2 years’ experience with agile and lean philosophies
• Experience with Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration techniques
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing practices
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) including:
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Demonstrated knowledge in one or multiple of the following:
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• HS Diploma
• US Citizenship and clearable to a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
