Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C programming and ISC Bind Protocol to join our team. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge and expertise in implementing and managing ISC Bind protocols. The primary responsibilities of this role include configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Bind DNS servers, maintaining DNS infrastructure, and ensuring the security and stability of DNS services. It is a fully remote position offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it's your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BIND DNS configurations to optimize performance and stability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex DNS issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with network engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of DNS services
• Research and recommend new technologies or enhancements to improve DNS performance and security
• Document DNS architecture, configurations, and processes for reference and training purposes

Requirements

• C Programming and networking
• Extensive expertise and hands-on experience with ISC Bind protocol
• Strong experience with ISC-BIND configuration, administration, and optimization
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex DNS problems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A2 English level proficiency

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications in DNS or network engineering are desirable
