What we are building

The Data product team at Domino is on a mission to make access to data, using the Domino platform, seamless and comprehensive such that data scientists can incorporate data into their workflows without worrying about how.  We take satisfaction in making data access so ubiquitous that data scientists can derive insights and produce predictions knowing that they have the full availability of data, whether internal or external at their disposal for any scenario.

The team is currently made up of many strong engineers with a variety of different backgrounds. We have everything from new grads to senior engineers specializing in backend coding and architecture. We are particularly proud of our collaborative culture and our emphasis on building things the right way while maintaining a fast paced delivery timeline.

What your impact will be

In your first year, you will be responsible for the development of the Domino Code Assist  (DCA) feature and its evolution as shaped by customer requirements and the direction from product including the architecture of it along with its integration with the larger Domino data ecosystem.

What we look for in this role

• 5+ years previously in a software engineering individual contributor role
• Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as Scala, Java, Kotlin, Python, C/C++, C#
• Deep understanding and experience in building large scale distributed systems
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
