Senior Software Engineer I

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. Resolve technical issues as necessary. Keep abreast of new technology developments. Complete bug fixes. Perform other duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field required.
• 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.

• Also required is: 3 years of experience in: Web 2.0 Application Development technologies including C#.NET MVC, WCF, HTML, Javascript, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap; Entity Framework or Dapper; WCF or SOAP Services; Subversion / GIT source control; Test Driven Development (TDD); SQL knowledge (MySQL & SQL Server) and SQL query troubleshooting experience; Windows Services & Basic Windows Server Administration.
• Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Boca Raton, FL but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
• Experience can be concurrent.
