We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer expert in Linux platforms who will be responsible will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical production systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications.

What You'll Do 
Responsibilities:

• Maintain the High availability and Performance of Production servers
• Configure and maintain servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.

What You May Need to be Successful:

• B.E or master’s degree in computer science, or equivalent with good 6 to 9 years of work experience.
• Minimum Experience 5 years hands on experience in Linux platforms
• RHCE Certification
• Project Ownership experience
• Tomcat, JBoss and WebLogic experience is required
• Linux/Solaris/Rancheros/Cloud (Azure/AWS) OS knowledge mandator
• Experience in Dev ops, build, release and deployment activities
• Knowledge in Java Application/Web servers including configuration, deploying, debugging
• Apache, tomcat, bind, postfix, CUPS
• Dev Ops role – AZURE, BOSS, PUPPET, Dev Ops, Jenkins, GitLab (Advantage)
• Experienced in storage (LUN) activities and data migrations.
• Experienced in patching, packages installation and troubleshooting.
• Experienced in SSL certs creation and update.
• Hands on experience in LVM.
• Good in server hardening.
• Should have good troubleshooting skills with self-learning tendency.
• Hands on experience on Cloud environments and VMware environments.
• Good in Analytical skills.
• Good in Verbal and written skills
