A bit about this role:

You will be leading a mobile and web application team. Join our very dedicated team in a casual non-corporate work environment. Free thinking and collaboration is highly encouraged. You will have the opportunity to work independently and support the rest of your team. We’re looking for someone to express their creative side and contribute directly to the overall look and feel of the application - we want the user experience to be awesome. You’ll build your skills as a senior software engineer and leader while enjoying the rewarding experience of seeing your efforts go directly into the final product!

The meaningful work you will tackle:

• Serve as a technical leader on your team
• Work with Product Owners, QA and developers to deliver scalable solutions with a high degree of operational excellence.
• Own delivery of the product features and take pride in your implementation.
• Assist in advanced technical issues and help managers guide the career growth of their team members.
• Exert technical influence on the mobile-web team, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your knowledge and experience.
• Stay current with related industry trends and technologies to recommend enhancements or changes.
• Mentor and coach the career development of your team

What we’re looking for in your background & what makes you a success:

• 5+ years minimum professional experience in software development
• 5+ years minimum professional experience building software platform & products
• 3+ years of management experience leading a team to build and ship enterprise level applications 
• Subject Matter Expert in one of the areas: NodeJS, Kotlin, SOA, Salesforce, AWS.
• 2+ years minimum professional experience with cloud platforms(AWS preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related engineering field or extensive relevant work experience
• Experience collaborating, communicating and implementing effective, solutions oriented improvements
• Someone who is not afraid to make critical decisions and has a bias towards action
• Ability to inspire and motivate the team to go above and beyond
• Giving & receiving meaningful feedback is part of our growth mind set & culture - both are in your wheelhouse

What we’re looking for in your background:

• B.S Degree in Computer Science OR B.S Degree in Software Development OR extensive relevant work experience
• Professional (not academic) - Android, iOS, Angular: 8+years
• Professional (not academic) - Java, Javascript: 8+years
• Professional (not academic) - Integrations: 8+ years
• Professional (not academic) - REST API - 5+ years
