WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
As a Senior Software Engineer in Finance and Procurement Technology (FPT), you will help deliver the future within Nike's Indirect Source-To-Pay Engineering organization. Nike operates in over 50 countries around the world and has daring growth plans. This growth requires us to design and deliver technology solutions that create a streamlined user experience and seamless integration across Nike's suite of sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and payment platforms and applications. This is a global technology role that supports a global operations team.

This role will be part of the FPT Procure-To-Pay squad and will work very closely with business partners and peers on other global technology teams to gather business requirements and implement solutions, including configuration and testing. You will play a role in helping Technical Product Management and Architects assess the feasibility and complexity of solution options.

You will be expected to complete configuration and customizations across various platforms and applications including SAP ECC, SAP S/4, SAP AP (Accounts Payable) in a complex Procurement and Sourcing ecosystem that is integrated with several SaaS and 3rd party applications including Coupa, Concur, Aravo, AWS, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Help refine business requirements and features into Epic or Story level requirements

- Support Program or Product Backlog by effectively supporting the Product Manager to prepare epics or user stories clearly capturing solution intent, known requirements, and acceptance criteria

- Help the Product Manager or Engineering lead actively manage and groom the backlog to keep a healthy list of items that are ready for development

- Participate in the design and development of the solution

- Support the creation of test plans to ensure the effective testing of technology changes before deployment

- Actively participate in PI or Iteration Planning processes to identify risks and issues and help to create a feasible and successful team plan

- Work efficiently to support effective budget and cost management

- Look for ways to continuously improve and reduce costs

- Improve estimates by ensuring clarity of context and intent of Epics/Stories

WHAT YOU BRING:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related technical subject area or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.

- 5+ years' experience in Finance portion of ERP projects and programs; should include exposure to localizations and customizations for a large global organization

- 5+ years' of hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, etc.

- Prior experience in working in a complex integrated Procurement and Sourcing ecosystem using SaaS and 3rd Party technologies like Coupa, Concur, Aravo, AWS, etc.

- Strong communication skills, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas effectively, mediate and resolve conflict.

- Ability to lead and influence team members

- Able to present ideas effectively and facilitate discussion with multiple inputs.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical IT teams required

- Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others

- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
