The Impact of a Senior Mobile Engineer to Coupa:

Coupa’s Mobile Engineers create our best-in-class User Interface by contributing to the development of Coupa’s mobile app product for Android and iOS, finding creative and elegant solutions to complex problems while collaborating closely with product managers, User Experience (UX) designers, and development teams to help drive standardization of user interface patterns and champion best practices.

What You’ll Do:

As a Mobile Senior Engineer you will be a part of a team developing software using React Native (RN), iOS, and Android to build our Coupa Mobile App with ease of use for our customers. You will be a key contributor on complex projects and initiatives while developing new concepts, methods and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of experience with mobile app development on Android and/or iOS platforms
• 4+ years of experience with React Native is required.
• Experience with Detox test framework is highly desirable
• Understanding of mobile app standards, deployment process, cross-platform compatibility and performance
• 4+ years of experience with building responsive pages with usability in mind
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and React principles.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest)
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems, Jenkins, Github actions & AWS deployments.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with a globally distributed team while having a growth-oriented mindset.
