The role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering our next-generation scheduling software, ScheduleX. Your responsibilities will include building new features, enhancing existing ones, and significantly improving the user experience. You will also contribute to redesign efforts and technical debt reduction initiatives. While your main focus will be frontend development (React), you should also be comfortable with backend tasks, with familiarity in .NET being required.

Where you'll work

You have to be located in Poland to be considered for this position. You'll have the flexibility to choose between remote work or working from our office in Warsaw.

What you'll be doing

• Building the UI for the ScheduleX product, dedicating 70-80% of your time to hands-on development.
• Ensuring high-quality standards by actively participating in the QA process.
• Taking the initiative to solve technical challenges as they arise.
• Redesigning, refactoring, and addressing technical debt as part of the team effort.
• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to shape the product backlog and delivery plan.
• Enhancing the user experience in close cooperation with UX designers.
• Ensuring adherence to standards, best practices, and SOLID principles through collaboration across teams.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a full-stack mindset
• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with at least 1 year of experience in .NET
• Solid experience with Redux and Material UI
• Familiarity with Node.js, npm, React Testing Library, and Jest
• Experience with Azure Cloud
• An ownership mindset focused on driving process improvements and refining the codebase
• Experience in enhancing legacy systems and managing technical debt effectively
• A deep understanding of modern design patterns and the ability to implement them
• Hands-on experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and Agile development practices
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to build relationships across teams to solve challenges
• A proactive approach to sharing knowledge and providing technical guidance to team members
• Fluency in English
