Job Summary
Collins Aerospace Engineering Applications & Infrastructure Services organization is seeking a Software Engineer with a passion for problem solving and delivering solutions that provide compelling gains to the consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development efforts across the enterprise. A candidate in this role will have experience working with a global team, have experience in Agile methodologies and drive to deliver on customer commitments.
Primary Responsibilities:
Developing applications on .NET Development - C#, VB, Javascript, Jquery, Bootstrap
Understand and able to perform database development - preferably with MySQL, MS SQL
Work as an agile team member with remote and global teams.
Collaborate with database developers and help debugging issues.
Use of JSON objects and integrating with the database.
Preferred Qualifications:
Telerik Controls
Continuous Integration experience, with Jenkins
Good working knowledge of ASP.Net, WebAPI and windows services
SOLR
Atlassian Suite knowledge (JIRA in particular)
Testing approaches such as TDD (Nunit)
SVN/Git
Experience with web deployment process with IIS servers, powershell
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder).
