About Gartner Peer Insights:

Peer Insights is Gartner's peer-driven platform where thousands of enterprise leaders connect with each other to help guide technology and business decisions. Users can access peer technology rating and reviews by verified users, network, share knowledge, get advice, and stay on top of current trends in the technology space. By posting questions, polls and surveys, leaders have access to real-time data and insights to inform their most critical decisions.

About the role:

This is a unique opportunity for a systematic, technically strong, and driven individual to make a big impact on Gartner's peer experiences roadmap as part of the Gartner Product Management group. We are looking for an impact-driven, self-motivated problem solver who can help with the frontend and/or backend implementation of the platform's product roadmap.

Peer experiences is a very important initiative at Gartner to make it faster and easier for clients to obtain peer insights. This role will work closely with the company leadership as well as the product, design, and QA teams to implement the product roadmap and help improve the client experience. You will also help mentor team members and help with the release process.

What you will do:

  • Assume major responsibility for Peer Insights community user-facing platforms.
  • Participate actively in architectural planning and decisions.
  • Design and build client-side architecture and functionality for web and mobile.
  • Design and build effective APIs and scalable backend systems.
  • Work closely with Design and Product teams to build a truly useful product.
  • Understand user requirements and help understand and provide input into product strategy.
  • Build and enforce guidelines for clean maintainable code.
  • Join a growing organization on the ground floor.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, math, statistics, engineering or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience using JavaScript and web frameworks like React (preferred), Angular or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience with back-end languages or frameworks (Java, C#, Node, Go)
  • Experience with mobile development is a plus.
  • Proven track record of building scalable, modular and understandable solutions.
  • Analytical problem solving skills, driven mindset, and a bias for action.
  • Intuitive sense for design/usability.
  • Ability to operate independently and produce thorough solutions given vague product and design requirements.
  • Strong sense of ownership and drive to help execute our product roadmap.
  • You are stoked about working with data, visualizations and graphs.
  • Strong working knowledge of lean product principles and software development lifecycle.

How we work:

  • We work with a focus on continuous, iterative delivery.
  • We rely on communication and collaboration over planning and documents.
  • We test heavily allowing us to rapidly deliver changes with minimal risk.
  • We are a flat organization with minimal management overhead.
  • We are used to working remotely with the team spread out in the US, Canada, India and now Spain.
  • Fun culture and great coworkers.

What you'll receive:

  • Competitive compensation packages.
  • Limitless growth and learning opportunities.
  • A collaborative and positive culture - join a diverse team of professionals that are as smart and driven as you.
  • A chance to make an impact - your work will contribute directly to our strategy.
  • Hybrid, virtual-first, environment with flexibility, remote work, and more.
  • Extensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 20+ PTO days plus holidays and floating holidays in your first year.
  • 401k with corporate match.
  • Health-and-wellness-related allowance programs.
  • Tuition reimbursement.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Gartner Gives Charity Match.

And much more!
