WHAT YOU'LL DO:
We’re looking for a Senior Engineer for our User Targeting team, which is responsible for how our customers segment and target their users. We are a small and skilled team working in a high-impact area of our product. Every Braze customer uses a product area that is owned by the User Targeting Team, and our pipelines process billions of users per day. This role provides a great opportunity to influence a core area of our product!
You’ll take on a variety of challenges, delivering in fast iterations of building and optimizing an ultrafast application for a massive scale. You will work closely with product and design, creating innovative user experiences that will delight our customers.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers
- Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
- A self-starter with great communication and organizational skills who has worked in a team environment before
- Bonus:
- Professional experience building software at scale
- Professional experience with one of Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, Java, MongoDB, microservice architecture, distributed systems
- Experience with agile processes
- Passionate about user experience
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $144,000 and $228,000/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $180,000 and $240,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, Braze offers full- and part- time employees a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that all Braze employees own a piece of our company.
