Senior Software Engineer (VoIP & Mobile)

IDT is looking for a skilled Software Engineer with a lot of experience with VoIP (SIP) & Mobile development to join our Net2Phone Team.

Net2Phone is a UCaaS platform that helps thousands of businesses worldwide manage their internal and external communications. The billing team is responsible for the customer invoicing, call rating, and other services to support billing in Net2Phone services.

In this role, you will:

• Work on iOS and Android applications for Net2Phone products. The main features of those applications are making and receiving calls.
• Write clean, DRY, and modular code, providing proper documentation when necessary.
• Extend the tools and capabilities of the team to support the ability to perform rapid prototyping.

We expect you to have:

• 5+ years of working experience in full cycle software development.
• Basic knowledge of VoIP.
• Willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
• Familiarity with at least one platform (iOS or Android), ideally with both would be a plus.
• Experience in writing technical design documents.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming.
• Ability to be part of a team and be a supportive teammate.
• Good level of English (B2 or higher) to communicate with teammates.
• Knowledge of Git: merge, rebase, cherry-pick should be fluent.

It would be a bonus to have:

• Experience working with server-side development.
• Understanding of HTTP protocol.
• Experience with at least one: Kotlin, Swift.
• Experience in B2C or B2B telecommunications.
• Experience in Mobile Development
• Javascript / Typescript / React.js / React Native
