Senior Software Engineer – Web Experience

The Publishing team is looking to hire a web engineer to work with our team of designers, engineers, and testers to build world-class experiences that support the Destiny universe.  We are seeking a candidate with a passion for blending the best technical solutions possible with high polish, user friendly experiences, and who can work with multiple fast-paced teams in coordination, in an agile environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating engineering strike teams working on publishing materials
• Planning and building CMS schemas for dynamic UI
• Working with polished, interactive web designs and building to spec, providing feedback, and working collaboratively with design peers
• Translating design team requirements into high quality , high-fidelity web pages
• Facilitating planning and execution between internal stakeholders and external partners

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proficiency building React.js applications
• Proven professional experience working with design teams building marketing pages with custom visual effects
• Familiarity with integrating analytics hooks and A/B tests into applications
• Ability to communicate with customers of different technical and non-technical backgrounds

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Webpack / Node.js
• ContentStack experience
• Web accessibility standards implementation
• Interest in management and/or mentorship responsibilities
