Senior Software Implementation Specialist - Remote

Summary:
The Senior Software Implementation Specialist will work directly with clients throughout the implementation lifecycle on DFIN's financial reporting platform within the Global Investment Companies business. This individual will be responsible for analyzing systems, mapping data, and configuring the platform to meet client requirements. Additionally, this individual will coordinate and manage custom on-boarding and software/product implementations (initial meeting through final disposition of a client's project).
Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation for clients on the financial reporting platform to include initial meeting through final sign-off of a client's project.
• Gather required data from clients and evaluate objectives and goals to create the project plan and develop the statement of work.
• Analyze and review client requirements and decide on the scope of the overall project.
• Determine resources and timelines to deliver based on client needs and expected outcomes.
• Decide on the appropriate resources/departments required to successfully implement a client campaign.
• Work with client on defining success criteria and develop test cases to align with desired outcomes.
• Configure application through the user interface based on all scope requirements and assist in analysis and testing of data ingestion process.
• Communicate client project status to appropriate stakeholders and disseminate information on problems or potential delays.
• Manage client expectations and ensure the completed work meets client SLA's and complies with the company standards.
• Guide the delivery team through implementation and ensure a comprehensive handoff to production support.
• May hold color project meetings with the client to review and make changes to jobs.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience w orking directly with clients throughout implementation lifecycle - analyzing their systems, mapping data, and configuring the platform to meet their requirements.
• 2-5 years of experience in SaaS software implementation or financial reporting.
• Self-starter and strong analytical skills.
• Strong problem solver with the ability to resolve complex issues through data analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
• Ability to review and understand the different pieces of financial reports, including but not limited to Financial and Portfolio Statements, Notes to Financials, and any other supporting information.
• Previous software implementation experience or product onboarding.
• Financial regulatory compliance knowledge a plus.
• Familiarity with XML and SEC regulatory knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
