Senior Solution Architect

Job Description
As a Senior Solution Architect you will provide venue expertise during client engagement to deliver workflow and solution design to achieve defined benefits. You will be responsible for guiding clients through current workflows, upgrades, system changes, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance. You will act as a primary consultant for the client's solution troubleshooting, consultation and knowledge transfer while also cultivating and sustaining relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge, and engagement support. As a member of this team, you will resolve escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise. This will include resolving complex client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or solution application, performing test script execution, and creating and participating in integrated testing.
Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

• At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 2 years healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
  • At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
    • At least 3 years supporting Cerner Pharmacy applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least 5 years of software implementation work experience
• At least 5 years of Cerner Pharmacy work experience

Expectations

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Due to specific client contract requirements, this position requires that the successful candidate be a U.S. citizen. The client contract also requires receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for the position.
