Senior Solutions Architect

The Role 

As a Solution Architect at Quickbase, you will serve as the senior most technical resource on our enablement services team. You will work with our top customers, both new and existing, as a trusted advisor and ensure they build scalable, integrated solutions that align with their business objectives. Problem solving and communication skills paired with technical aptitude will be the key to your success in this role. 

Responsibilities 

• Assess business requirements and provide solution architecture guidance 

• Build functional prototypes to demonstrate solution possibilities 

• Assist customers with integration needs via Quickbase Pipelines (iPaaS) and RESTful webservices 

• Assist customers with advance application extensions (javascript, html, css) 

• Analyze solutions and identify performance, scale, and integration optimizations 

• Work with product teams and identify opportunities for platform enhancements 

• Educate and mentor expanded team members with technical guidance 

Requirements 

Technical experience 

• Background designing and implementing relational databases, with an emphasis on data modeling 

• 7+ years consulting, designing, or implementing SaaS solutions 

• 7+ years in a customer-facing technical role (solution consulting, sales engineering, solution architecture, etc.) 

• Experience working with RESTful web services 

• Experience with modern programming languages (e.g. node.js, python) 

• Prior Quickbase experience is desired but not required for the right candidate 

Skills 

• Critical thinker with innate problem-solving skills 

• Ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex ideas 

• Ability to independently research integration possibilities with other SaaS platforms and quickly identify and communicate options 

• Strong technical and business acumen 

• Prior experience working with senior leaders both business and technical 

• Experience with built environment solutions is desired (building of cities, buildings, urban spaces, cell towers, walkways, roads, parks, etc.)
