Why this role
From new family additions to medical situations, the Leave of Absence Sr. Specialist will show our #care value daily by taking Evolvers through the full leave of absence process. Your focus will be on offering a positive, customer-centric Evolver Experience ensuring Evolvers understand all of the intricate steps of their leave, working cross functionally with leaders and payroll, and ensuring all applicable areas of compliance are followed. As part of our Total Rewards team, we are leading some exciting initiatives to enhance the Evolver Experience as we quickly scale, and you’ll be part of it!
What you’ll do
- Manage the full leave cycle experience for all teammates, including applying for a leave, going out on a leave, and returning to work.
- Code all time off for Evolvers on leave in Workday and work closely with the Payroll team on leave-related issues that arise.
- Maintain a strong partnership and communication with our third-party administrator to ensure all claims are processed timely and our leave data matches theirs.
- Initiate the ADA process with Prudential when necessary and ensure the interactive process is effective and efficient.
- Stay current on all changes to leave regulations, including federal (FMLA, ADA) and state/local (state disability, paid sick leave) regulations.
- Update any applicable leave or time off policies as regulations change and the company evolves.
- #Beefficient by finding ways to automate Evolve’s leave of absence process.
- Provide education to leaders on when to initiate the leaves process and how to communicate effectively when a teammate is on a leave.
What makes you a great fit
- 3+ years of leave of absence administration experience
- Experience in Workday absence preferred
- Working knowledge of all leave-related regulations and how they apply throughout the leaves process, including FMLA, ADA, state/local
- Strong understanding of short and long-term disability benefits and how they interact with leave regulations
- Strong analytical skills, including strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
- An unparalleled sense of urgency and commitment to getting stuff done without sacrificing quality or experience
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple competing priorities while continuing to advance critical initiatives
- An ability to gain trust through effective communication and doing what you say you will do
- A reputation for discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness, strong attention to detail and common sense

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work remotely anywhere in the state of Colorado, in our beautiful downtown Denver office, remotely or a hybrid of both! As we grow, we are working towards opening remote opportunities across the entire U.S. We currently are able to hire across the U.S except in the following locations: California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania.Â
Compensation
For this role our salary range is $67,000 to $77,000, depending on relevant experience
