Senior Staff Engineer

JOB DUTIES: Deliver efficient, maintainable robust enterprise solutions using Microsoft tools, C#, .Net core, Azure, SQL server, Angular. Produce designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements. Develop efficient, maintainable, robust .Net core based microservices to support SOA. Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, testing and software validation techniques. Follow software design patterns and implement coding best practices for scalable, maintainable and efficient code. Build prototypes used to collect user feedback to iterate through design choices. Produce unit, integration, load and end to end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features. Follow agile software development principles.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field and eight (8) years of professional software engineering experience. Eight (8) years to include: Developing experience in C# and .net related technologies; Relational Databases, SQL queries, Stored Procedures and Tuning experience; Writing design documents and developing code to adhere to design specifications; Performance analysis and tuning, troubleshooting resource contention and high utilization using best practices and coding standards; Following agile software development principles. Five (5) years of experience to include: Cloud Infrastructure (Azure and AWS). Three (3) years of experience to include: Analyzing and improving product efficiency using various development and test techniques; Software Design including developing SOA and Microservices using .Net Core; Performing code reviews and experience with CI/CD.
