Job Description

What will you be working on?

• Molding the future of the horizontal capabilities of Freshservice: user management, authorization, reporting, application architecture, and more

• Designing and launching capabilities for specific verticals and industries

• Setting standards and reviewing for compliance and consistency around APIs, forms, and interaction models across modules

• Planning, architecting, and overseeing complex migrations to new application and module architectures, while ensuring zero downtime and workflow disruption for customers

Qualifications

What are the qualities we're looking for in you?

• Technical chops: you should ideally be an engineer-turned-product-manager with at least 12 years of overall experience, which includes at least 2 years of software engineering experience and 6 years of product management experience

• Attention to detail: every decision you make will affect every Freshservice customer and all their employees, so you need to dot the i's and cross the t's.

• A love for putting things in order: if you enjoyed refactoring code as an engineer, you'll fit right in!

• Foresight: you should be able to visualize what customers would need years from now, and take incremental steps towards that utopian state

• Systems thinking: you should have a flair for building well-thought-out, reusable modules and components that scale gracefully and fit elegantly into the application architecture

• Experience with launching new products: it would be great if you’ve built a product from scratch and launched it, but this is not an essential requirement
