Accountabilities

  • Lead and develop a team of product managers, helping them grow from strong contributors into strategic product leaders.
  • Establish and maintain high standards for product discovery, planning, execution, prioritization, and measurement.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, customer success, sales, marketing, and leadership teams to align product initiatives with business goals.
  • Create clarity around product strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, investment decisions, and roadmap direction.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, autonomy, and collaboration across the product organization.
  • Drive customer discovery initiatives and ensure product decisions are based on validated insights, customer evidence, and measurable outcomes.
  • Improve product operating systems, including planning processes, roadmap frameworks, product reviews, and decision-making practices.
  • Serve as a trusted product advisor to executive leadership, influencing strategic direction and organizational growth.
  • Strengthen product management capabilities by introducing best practices, coaching frameworks, and scalable processes.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to ensure teams deliver meaningful value to customers.
  • Requirements

    • Significant product management experience with a proven track record of leading product teams and managing product managers.
    • Strong experience coaching and developing product talent, with the ability to elevate team performance and leadership capabilities.
    • Excellent customer discovery and validation skills, including the ability to conduct interviews and uncover meaningful customer insights.
    • Strong product fundamentals across roadmap development, prioritization, product strategy, stakeholder management, metrics, and execution.
    • Demonstrated judgment and pragmatism, with the ability to balance process improvements, business outcomes, and execution speed.
    • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to build accountability and autonomy within teams.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and seniority levels.
    • Experience operating in fast-moving environments while maintaining the discipline needed to support enterprise customers.
    • Experience building or scaling product management organizations is preferred.
    • Background working with developer tools, infrastructure, security, cloud platforms, enterprise software, self-hosted solutions, or open-source products is a plus.
    • Ability to improve product processes without introducing unnecessary complexity.

        • US Tier 1: $198,000 - $268,000 USD plus equity and bonus opportunities.
        • US Tier 2: $180,000 - $244,000 USD plus equity and bonus opportunities.
