As a new team lead engineer on our team, you will be working with a talented, passionate, and collaborative team of engineers, product managers and experience designers to transform the ways applications are built within small companies to large enterprise customers. 

Role Description:

The Sr IT Systems Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and support of the on-prem and hosted infrastructure. This includes designing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, following best practices, and upgrading the environments.

Key Focuses in this Role:

  • Works with business stakeholders to drive design, implement, maintain, monitor, and support Information Technology solutions to suit business needs
  • Responsible for top-level administration of existing enterprise systems infrastructure for on-going maintenance and support as well as final tier of escalation to the service desk and operations teams
  • Leads proof-of-concept testing, demonstration, and implementation of new solutions to meet business requirements
  • Creates documentation for planned and as-built systems and updates existing documentation when significant functionality changes are implemented
  • Plans implementation and transition strategies and gets approved through the change review process
  • Works with multiple technical and non-technical teams to deliver solutions and acts as the subject matter expert in multi-disciplinary projects 
  • Provides occasional after-hours support

 You at Quickbase:  

  • Minimum 2 - 5 years of Azure experience
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of Microsoft AD administration experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
  • At least one of the following certifications: VCP, CCA, AZ-104 / AZ-103
  • SSO and SCIM implementation 
  • JAMF Apple Device Management 
  • Mimecast or similar email security
  • Scripting and software packaging 
  • Hyper-V and NetApp shared storage
  • Networking, Cisco Meraki and ISE
  • Experience with Microsoft and Azure/O365is required:
    • Microsoft AD Services: Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Security Groups, Domain Controllers (DCs), Domain Trusts, DNS and DHCP
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server OS administration and support
    • Azure / o365
    • Security and IAM / Role-Based Access Controls
    • Subscription management, resource groups, implement Azure storage, deploy virtual machines, and configure virtual networks
    • Office 365, Azure, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS offerings
