About the role:
As a Senior Systems Engineer on our Financial Crimes Engineering (FinCrimes) team, you will be building, integrating and owning the Actimize service and infrastructure that power our anti-money laundering systems. Your work will keep bad actors out of Robinhood and out of the financial system. You will also gain a unique look into how the US financial systems works on the inside and strengthen your financial-domain knowledge.
Required Experience:

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience
• Experience with end-to-end implementation of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) systems and platforms.
• Experience implementing Actimize solution or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge and application of AML, OFAC/Sanctions, and other AML regulatory policies.
• Previous experience in implementation of software applications in the financial services industry.
• Experience utilizing AML systems (including data mapping, profiling, system tuning etc), and leading AML, Fraud and RPA systems.
• Proven experience with web applications: J2EE, web & application servers
• Experience in working with various Database Management Systems, preferably SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX or LINUX.
• Experience delivering projects via Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated aptitude for conducting quantitative, and qualitative analyses of large and complex data.
• Experience developing/configuring feature(s), functionality for an enterprise-grade software.
• Experienced with Multi-threading and multi-currency and global implementations.
• Self-starter, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Actively engages others in work done, to expand and broaden professional domain knowledge and know-how.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and complete complex tasks.
• Problem solving skills, and analytical mind, with a strong ability for self-learning.

Bonus points:

• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with most current versions of Actimize
• Application development & containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in a DevOps environment.
• Able to understand and challenge implementation done in Actimize solution.
• CAMS, CFE, or equivalent.
