Your Mission 

As a member of SADA’s IT Cloud Operations team, the Senior Systems Engineer will play a key role in building, owning, managing, and supporting SADA’s SaaS, Collaboration, and Identity landscape.

Duties and Essential Job Functions: 

• Day to day implementation, maintenance, and administration of SaaS applications used by the company worldwide, including (but not limited to) Okta, Google Workspace, Gainsight, GitHub, Monday.com, Atlassian, M365, Lumapps, etc.
• Integrate existing and new apps with SSO using SAML, SCIM and other provisioning technologies
• Administration and management of SADA’s Google Workspace tenants
• Gain administrative understanding of upcoming or newly introduced SaaS applications to ensure best practices are taken
• Remediation of SaaS security posture alerts and recommendations
• Work within IT and other departments as required on business application integrations, including using tools such as Dell Boomi, Big Query, Google App Script, and ServiceNow.
• Utilize PowerShell, GAM (Google Apps Manager), Google Cloud Shell, REST APIs, to automate various tasks
• Act as a technical support escalation resource for Tier I/II resources on SaaS-related issues
• Collaborate on various initiatives with Compliance and Security

Expectations

Daily interaction with a variety of engineers (both local and remote) and other business stakeholders.  When appropriate, leverage internal expertise and experience across SADA as required to support internal IT services.  The Senior Systems Engineer collaborates with the Director of IT, IT Manager, Incident Managers, support staff, and other team members to ensure support and IT service expectations are met.

Job Requirements

Required Credentials: 

• BA or BS degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
• Current Okta Certified Professional (or higher), or willing to attain certification in first 3-6 months of joining
• Current Google Workspace Administrator Certification, or willing to attain certification in first 3-6 months of joining

Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of work experience in technology, technology consulting, and IT support
• 3+ years of hands on administration and responsibility of identity and SSO solutions (Okta preferred), including experience in configuring SSO via SAML or OAuth
• 3+ years of experience with Super Admin level configurations in Google Workspace / GSuite
• Experience with initial standup and implementation of corporate SaaS applications 
• Exhibits strong decision making, and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to deal with changing priorities to complete tasks in a short period of time 
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills 
• Solid commitment to customer service with good initiative and follow-through
• Open to being on call for weekends and after hours

Bonus Qualifications/Certifications:

• Any cloud infrastructure certifications (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc)
• Experience in any of the following: ServiceNow, AWS, Azure, AD, DNS, DLP
• Experience with SaaS Software Security Posture Management (SSPM) tools like AdaptiveShield
• PowerShell, GAM, Google Cloud Shell, Scripting Knowledge 
• Familiarity with SOC II and ISO27001 audits and standards
