In this role, the Senior Tableau Developer will partner with our physicians, clinic staff, our operations teams, and our leadership to be the catalyst for the transformation of our rapidly growing Tableau-based docOS™ Insights healthcare analytics platform.

In this highly visible role, you’ll serve as the catalyst for the transformation of our rapidly growing Tableau-based docOS™ Insights healthcare analytics platform. You’ll also be a part of our Visual Analytics Team, which partners with physicians, clinic staff, our operations teams, and our leadership to solve analytics problems and develop visual reporting and analytics capabilities.

How you can make a difference:

• Design, develop and deploy Tableau-based analytics products that enable a broad and diverse set of users to navigate the Data to Value continuum efficiently and effectively
• Leverage human-centered design principles when building a Tableau User Interface & User Experience
• Design, develop and deploy an intuitive and impactful Tableau User Interface & User Experience for a broad and diverse set of users
• Monitor product utilization and performance to proactively identify potential performance issues opportunities for enhancements
• Document standards and best practices for the design, development, and management of our Tableau-based analytics products
• Work closely with data architects and data engineers on the design of our future state consumption pattern(s) and layer(s)
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Tableau best practices, features, functionality, and new capabilities to other Analytics team members

Experience to drive change:

• 5+ years of experience in an analytics-centric role working with business units to design, develop and deploy impactful dashboards and visualizations using Tableau
• Understand and embrace the importance of applying human-centered design principles when building a Tableau-based User Interface & User Experience
• 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare delivery organization strongly preferred  Can operate in both Agile & Waterfall frameworks
• Ability to articulate and document conceptual/logical architecture requirements for consumption patterns and layers
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake)
• Bachelor’s degree required

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
