Senior Talent Development Programs Manager
Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Partner with Senior Director of Talent, CHRO, and Senior HRBP to understand the learning needs of the organization, teams and individuals and make recommendations on current and future programs
- Develop, facilitate, and manage programs that improve employee performance and leader effectiveness
- Assess current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to attain desired organizational results and to prepare and enable our workforce for future needs
- Partner with external vendors to ensure organizational health and team effectiveness utilizing assessments such as Myers-Briggs and Working Genius
- Build strong stakeholder relationships that support organization-wide learning and development objectives
- Elevate our onboarding experience, including a persona-driven approach to Unanet product and business application education, enabling individual success in capacities ranging from Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, to Product and more
- Support our continuous feedback performance management strategy and practices
- Define near- and long-term strategies to support capacity building, upskilling, and reskilling efforts, upleveling our talent by identifying knowledge, skills, and abilities gaps and addressing the same in our rapidly growing employee base
- Address desire for individual growth and development, helping establish career paths and competency matrices as well as supporting our mentor program, enabling our employees to own their own careers
- Leverage a variety of learning solutions and strategies to enhance employee experience, individual performance, and leadership development
- Build and maintain a learning library that provides employees with suggested resources for professional growth internally and externally
- Evaluate and report on operational and performance metrics with the objective of continuously improving our learning and development strategy and offerings; provide professional growth team reports to be included in executive level quarterly dashboards
- Serve as a strategic business partner across departments and at all levels of our workforce
- Manage relationships with external vendors that advance L&D objectives and initiatives
Your First 90 Days
In your First 30 Days, you will be immersed in our team, technology, and culture. You will learn the ins-and-outs of our job architecture and the capacities we have in place today as well as plan to hire in the year ahead. Equipped with what you've learned about our staff and existing learning and development programs, your focus will shift to understanding the products we offer the market and business applications we leverage. You will begin building strong stakeholder relationships as you conduct field interviews, understanding the product and business application knowledge our teams need to enable our employees and support our customers. You will consolidate these findings and present a gap analysis to Unanet's Senior Director of Talent and Chief Human Resources Officer.
In your First 60 Days, your field interviews will give you and understanding of where we are today and what is needed going forward. Your gap analysis will begin informing Learning & Development roadmap with organization-wide impact. You will assess what learning resources are already available and make a determination on what training resources will need to be built, when and how. You will present your gap analysis and loosely defined roadmap to Unanet's Senior Director, Talent and Chief Human Resources Officer. This collaborative effort will question, refine, and validate your go-forward execution.
In your First 90 Days, with a solidified roadmap for product and business application learning and development offerings, execution, evaluation and iteration will become your primary focus. You will have built strong stakeholder relationships and can rely on the same to reinforce and calibrate how we enable our growing workforce. Your first six (6) months will first and foremost be focused in equipping our workforce with the product and business application knowledge our team's need to be successful in their day-to-day work. As your execution progresses, your scope of impact and influence will grow to include People Manager and Employee Development programs and initiatives.
Who You Are
- 6+ years' experience in a dedicated learning and development function
- 3+ years' experience within a Human Resources team in high-growth B2B SaaS
- Demonstrable experience creating and facilitating various developmental programs, with a track record of advancing long-term learning agendas while executing on immediate-term initiatives
- Natural ability to facilitate in person, virtual or hybrid learning sessions to ensure the learning outcomes are achieved with the ability to keep the audience captivated and engaged
- Experience with a variety of learning approaches beyond instructor-led, including blended learning, micro-learning, rotations, etc.
- Ability to collaborate, influence, and build relationships at all levels, from individual contributor to executive leadership
- Big picture thinking and practical execution skills to deliver enterprise learning initiatives across regions, functions, and business units with an awareness of the impact of little details
- Experience managing cloud-based Learning and Performance Management Systems, including from point of initial implementation
- Strong project management as well as curriculum development and facilitation abilities, with ability to anticipate future learning needs
- Passion for technology and the benefits that it can bring to learning, which includes experience creating PowerPoint presentations using Company branded guidelines and utilizing different tools (breakouts, virtual whiteboards, polls, etc.) that are available in virtual platforms such as Zoom to create an engaging experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Curriculum & Instruction or related

- Creative problem-solver that thrives on exploring and validating new approaches to talent and quantifiably measuring program effectiveness
- Eye for internal mobility, fostering a growth mindset, and solution development for success readiness
- Coaching certification and/or assessment certified expert preferred but not required
- Prior experience in a merger and acquisition (M&A) integration environment

The salary range for this opportunity is $130,000 - 160,000 per year. You will be eligible for discretionary bonus compensation, subject to plans that may be in effect from time to time.
