As a Senior Technical Product Manager focused on document platforms and AI infrastructure, you will lead the strategy and evolution of a critical data and document processing system that powers advanced AI-driven capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and machine learning, ensuring scalable, high-performance infrastructure for document ingestion, indexing, retrieval, and multimodal search. You will define the vision for how structured and unstructured data flows through complex systems that support next-generation AI experiences. Working closely with engineering and data science teams, you will translate technical challenges into clear product direction and actionable roadmaps. This position requires strong technical fluency, systems thinking, and the ability to influence across multiple teams in a fast-moving environment. Your work will directly impact platform reliability, AI accuracy, and the scalability of intelligent document-based workflows.

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the document processing and AI infrastructure platform, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and AI teams.
• Translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications for document ingestion, OCR pipelines, chunking strategies, indexing, embedding, and vector search systems.
• Partner with backend engineering, infrastructure, and data science teams to design scalable, high-performance document management and processing systems.
• Drive platform adoption strategies, enabling migration and integration of shared capabilities across multiple product teams through influence and demonstrated value.
• Collaborate with AI and product teams to ensure infrastructure readiness for new feature development, including LLM-based and retrieval-augmented systems.
• Monitor and optimize key platform metrics such as latency, throughput, cost efficiency, indexing performance, and search accuracy.
• Define success metrics for data quality, retrieval precision, ingestion performance, and AI-driven outputs in collaboration with ML engineers.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across multiple teams to ensure consistency in document infrastructure standards and shared services.
• Act as a technical evangelist for the platform, promoting adoption and understanding across the organization.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level product managers in technical product management practices and infrastructure thinking.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, architectural enhancements, and long-term scalability of the platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, with ownership of technically complex platforms or infrastructure products.
• Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate deeply with engineers on system architecture, data pipelines, and distributed systems.
• Experience with document processing systems, search and indexing technologies, or AI/ML-driven infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with technologies such as OCR pipelines, full-text and vector search, embedding strategies, and large-scale data systems.
• Proven experience working on platform or shared-service products where adoption is driven by influence and cross-team collaboration.
• Strong understanding of Agile or Lean product development methodologies.
• Analytical mindset with experience defining, tracking, and improving product and system performance metrics.
• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs between scalability, performance, cost, and product complexity.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate highly technical concepts into clear business and product narratives.
• Experience working in AI-adjacent domains such as LLM systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or intelligent document processing is a strong plus.
• Prior experience in legal tech, compliance-heavy industries, or document-intensive systems is advantageous but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, multi-team environments with competing priorities.
