This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Finance Analytics Manager (Product & Engineering) based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, product, and data, acting as a critical bridge between product strategy and financial performance. It is responsible for turning complex product usage and behavioral data into actionable financial insights that shape forecasting, investment decisions, and long-term business planning. You will partner closely with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Data, and Finance to understand how product decisions translate into revenue growth, retention, and profitability. The role owns product-level financial modeling and forecasting across multiple offerings in a fast-scaling SaaS environment. It also leads deep analytical investigations to uncover the “why” behind key business trends and performance shifts. This is a highly visible, strategic role where analytical rigor directly informs executive decision-making and company direction.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and own product-level financial forecasting models across multiple products, including drivers such as adoption, engagement, monetization, retention, and churn.
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to Product and Engineering leadership, translating product strategy into financial outcomes and insights.
  • Lead deep-dive analyses into product performance, identifying drivers of growth, efficiency, and revenue expansion opportunities.
  • Own financial performance management processes, including forecasting cycles, operating reviews, variance analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into product and financial performance across the organization.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and structure large datasets for analysis and forecasting.
  • Establish scalable finance analytics frameworks, improving decision-making speed and strengthening data-driven planning processes.
  • Ensure data governance and metric consistency, maintaining a reliable single source of truth for product financial performance.
  • Requirements:

    • 10–12+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, finance analytics, or related roles in a high-growth SaaS environment.
    • Strong expertise in building product-level financial models and forecasting methodologies that influence executive decisions.
    • Advanced SQL skills with experience working in data warehouse environments (e.g., Snowflake or similar platforms).
    • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, GRR, churn, LTV, and CAC, and how they connect to product behavior.
    • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
    • Proven ability to conduct open-ended, investigative analyses and translate findings into executive-level recommendations.
    • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial insights for senior stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated experience acting as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and executive leadership teams.
    • Highly autonomous problem-solver comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary range of $127,000–$186,000 annually, based on experience.
      • Remote-first flexibility across the United States.
      • Opportunity to shape product financial strategy in a high-growth, global SaaS organization.
      • High-impact role with direct exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision-making.
      • Work in a data-rich environment with modern analytics and scalable infrastructure.
      • Career growth in a fast-scaling organization operating at global scale.
      • Inclusive, collaborative culture that values ownership, initiative, and innovation.
